Our son Hunter is a Wolf Scout in Pack 309 and has set a goal to exceed $2,500.00 in popcorn sales. He has waited so long to become a Scout. All three of his cousins have been through Pack 309. The two received their Eagle and the third is a Webelos Scout. Hunter's sisters have been in Girl Scouts for eight years and they set high goals in cookie sales each year. Hunter finally has his turn. He is presently at $2,171.00 and is very close to achieving his goal, and all but five orders have come through door to door sales.
Hunter asks everyone, “Would you like to support our Pack and order some Cub Scout Popcorn? My goal is to exceed $2,500 so I earn money in the Trail's End Scholarship Program.”
If they want to know more he tells them, “Trail's End puts6% of my sales every year into a scholarship program for when I go to college.”
If the people tell him no, he says “have a nice day and thank you anyway.” People are so impressed with how polite he is that they turn around and buy something or give a donation to the Pack.
Thank you for taking an interest in Hunter. You now have him asking us to sell more!

Sincerely,
Donald and Wendy
